I work with an online betting website that publishes previews of various sporting events (Premier League Football matches, Champions League football, La Liga, etc) and we are looking for a long-term sports writer/journalist to write football match previews.

The candidate will need to be completely proficient in the English language and have a great knowledge of football, particularly the English Premier League, with the ability to research for upcoming events and write relevant, factual and interesting previews in a given format that I will provide. Experience in the field of sports writing is not necessary, but would obviously be a bonus.

Ultimately what we are looking for is someone who has experience and/or a keen interest in sports writing, and is very flexible so that they can write preview articles on sports events to a deadline and word limit when projects are given to them.

This job is likely to be a long-term project, and so the winning bidder could have a regular source of income from this position. The winnner will generally cover around 3-5 previews per week to start with, although this may expand greatly as time progresses.

We pay per word, and are able to pay *$1USD / $0.75 Euro per 100 words * for the articles, so please only bid if this rate is acceptable to you.

The winner will be able to start the job ASAP as the Premier League season kicks off in less than a fortnight.
